From the moment we met James during the valuation of our home, we knew we would trust him to do the job. He explained a modern approach to marketing our property (which needed modernising throughout) to achieve the best return – totally different to other agents we spoke to and a much better price received at the end. Within a week, we were on the market, and (after 15 viewings) we accepted an offer six days later. A tiered pricing structure was agreed that was based on the price attained; yes, it was more than some other agents but we achieved a significantly better price for our property than they suggested which more than offset this cost and received additional services that helped everything run smoothly.
James also negotiated with the agent selling our new home and we had an offer accepted at a lower price than we expected without all of the stress of trying to juggle phone calls whilst working – why had we never heard of this part of an estate agent’s role before?
We used the conveyancer recommended – not the cheapest but we had no problems with the service and did not have to keep chasing them to do their job, they just got on and did it! This was invaluable in our busy lives. James kept the sale moving, even finding our buyer a new solicitor when it emerged six weeks after the offer was accepted that no progress had been made. This meant that the sale and purchase stayed on track and we would be able to move in time for Christmas – which we did
