Meet Wellington Evans

Nick Wellington

Nick Wellington

Nick started working as an estate agent in 1991 and hasn’t looked back since. Born in Hitchin (back when the town had its own hospital!), and raised in Shillington, Nick has spent his career focusing on the local area of Hitchin, Baldock, Letchworth, Shefford, Biggleswade, and its surrounding villages. Apart from a few years on the south coast, he has lived and worked in the local areas, now lives locally with his wife of 18 years Samantha, and their adorable son George.

Outside of work, Nick loves to go for a run most mornings, enjoys a day’s fishing and considers himself to be quite an accomplished cook!

James Evans

James Evans

James started working as an estate agent in 2006 in Central London having enjoyed a decade in the motor trade previously.  Born and bred in Kingston-Upon-Thames James moved to Hertfordshire ‘from home’ at the age of 20.  Since 2010 James has worked the Harpenden, St Albans and Hitchin markets and the many connecting villages and hamlets to the South West of Hitchin.  James has two wonderful children, Emily and Thomas who he dedicates the majority of his non-working time too.

James is not as active when it comes to sport as Nick!! James prefers watching motorsports, plays golf (only off 23) and is also a dab hand in the kitchen.

We are delighted to introduce our first member of staff, Helen Badcock, a highly reputable and experienced agent who has previously worked with both partners of Wellington Evans. 

 Helen loves helping people move and has spent the last 13 years in North Herts doing just this and has rightly earned an excellent reputation for providing exceptional customer service!

 Outside of work, Helen has three grown-up children who have all fled the nest, enjoys holidaying in Salcombe and taking Ron the sausage dog on long walks.

Jenny Morrell-Nichols

We welcomed the first member of our weekend team in March 2022. Jenny lives locally and works as a Careers Advisor from home during the week.

Jenny is loving getting out and about at the weekend, helping people to find their new home and selling all the benefits of living in and near to Hitchin. Jenny has gained an excellent reputation so far with some outstanding reviews of her local knowledge, knowledge of the current housing market and her helpful friendly manner.

Jenny has three grown up children, and enjoys holidays, nature, wildlife and walking her dog Frodo.

Natali Topliff

Natali started as a viewing assistant for an estate agency and found she quite enjoyed talking to people about what they were looking for in a property. Since then she has worked in estate agency admin, including helping with the promotional material.

She now works full time as a content writer, with a focus on helping you find the perfect property!

As an avid reader, you will either find her with her nose in a fantasy book or attempting to catch up with her speedy three-year-old.
